What changes the price of a Calgary move?
- Access. Elevators, stairs and long carries from the truck add roughly 30–60 minutes per end. Condo elevator bookings in downtown Calgary work best in a reserved 2-hour window.
- Packing. Full packing of a 3-bedroom home is usually a separate 4–6 hour visit the day before the move.
- Date. Month-end, weekends and June–September book out first and are priced separately from mid-month weekdays.
- Specialty items. Pianos, safes, pool tables and hot tubs are quoted with the right crew and equipment rather than by the hour alone.
